Our sisters have been working for the uplift of the villages in Kanudih. Ever since the house was established here, the villages around have undergone a transformation. Much growth and development has taken place in these villages, due, not in a small measure, to the efforts of sisters who have worked sincerely for their welfare. One of our sisters works with the Jan Vikas Samiti, an IMS Organization that is actively engaged in the work for transformation of villages.

Besides these formal ministries, some communities and individual sisters are actively engaged in Faith Formation, Non formal Education, better Health programmes, Parish activities and Remedial classes for weaker children, according to the needs of persons, circumstances and places. A CJ sister works as a full time nurse in the Kamala Nehru Hospital, Allahabad.
